Our Resort is easy to access!

You can drive right into our resort. If possible, come in a pick-up truck or 4 by 4, as in most cases, travel on old gravel logging roads is involved during the hunt. We are located 130 miles north of International Falls, Minnesota on Hwy. 71 or 26 miles southeast of Kenora, Ontario. Here's a map of the area.

The Bow Hunt

We run a small personalized-style of bear hunt that produces excellent results in the black, cinnamon, and chocolate colour phases. To help get these results, we provide an elevated archery range for you to shoot from to simulate the tree-stand.

Bears beneath the Tree StandFor those of you that do not practice the art of skinning, we will be glad to assist you. A locker service is also provided. Whether you're a first-time or seasoned bear hunter, we look forward to welcoming you to our Resort.

We guarantee quality working baits. Our pre-baited set-ups use a vegetarian and meat diet that has stood the test of time and always draw a large number of Black Bears. Some sites have permanent platforms erected, while others require portable tree-stands. Most of the stands are located 10 to 20 yards from the bait.
